Ullastret is located on a hill on the right bank of the Daró river. The structure of Ullastret is clearly medieval, the nucleus of the town is made up of small and narrow streets with a steep slope, surrounded by well-preserved walls. The parish church of San Pedro stands out, it is Romanesque from the 11th century, with a basilica plan with three naves and three apses. Also note the Gothic fish market. To the east of the municipality, on the hill of Sant Andréu, is the Iberian town of Ullastret, one of the largest and most important Iberian deposits in the Mediterranean, together with that of Olèrdola. It was inhabited from the 6th century BC until the beginning of the 2nd century BC, when it was abandoned with the arrival of the Romans; although remains of prehistoric times have also been found. The wall (called oppida), the necropolis and various human settlements are preserved. The Ullastret site is part of the Route of the Iberians.
